Prehistoric Man Invents The Game Of Catch

I've always preferred the Gary Larson they're-kinda-smart-but-kinda-dumb-and-don't-really-get-it-yet school of caveman humor over the basic Fred Flintstone they-use-little-baby-mastodons-for-vacuum-cleaners brand. I also enjoy drawing Neanderthals with really funny shaped heads instead of just regular guys with beards and animal skins. Got no problems putting cavemen together with dinosaurs, though. I make-a the rules, I break-a the rules.

It's Spring And Everything...

And I'd love to get into the spirit of new growth, new beginnings and such but: A. I live in Minnesota and B. That's DULUTH, Minnesota. All of which means we're only about a week into seven straight days of weather reports without the mention of snow flurries and, honestly, the only new growth I've seen so far this season is primarily a matter for my dermatologist. Still, I can dream.

Sometimes I think my doodling career is divided up between the time I spend drawing caricatures of people I know and the much larger amount of time I spend drawing caricatures of people I've never even seen. I mean, I look at this picture after I've scrawled it and figure there just hast to be someone out there that looks like that.
