We Should Have More Holidays Devoted to Rodents

Not that people seem to make much a fuss about Groundhog's Day anymore except to say how much they like that old Bill Murray movie. Ever since Ernie Bushmiller died, cartoonists just don't do justice to second tier holidays. Where are all the great Arbor Day jokes?
